AT MIRROR

Emma Neuberg’s print sculptures were on show at the Triangle Gallery at Chelsea College of Arts in London. Titled the Billboard Skirts this collection of work was originally commissioned by Textiles Environment Design at University of the Arts London. The group show is called Ever & Again: Experimental Recycled Textiles and is curated by Professor Becky Earley.

The works were then selected by Textile Forum Southwest to be toured nationally as part of a new show called Material Actions curated by the curator of the Mirror Gallery in Plymouth, Hannah Rose. The exhibition closed on 20th January 2008.

Emma’s Billboard Skirts were a series of six skirt-shaped pieces addressing myth, monoculture, feminism and consumerism. Pictured here is Barbie Goes Shopping, polythene and cotton, 110cm x 70cm, 2007.
